my-skills — FAQ
What is my-skills?+
My-skills is a curated collection of Claude Code plugins (skills) that automate development workflows, from project scaffolding and code review to documentation generation and design prompts. Each skill is a standalone automation that integrates with Claude Code's slash-command system.
How do I install these Claude Code plugins?+
First run '/plugin marketplace add bear2u/claude-plugins' in Claude Code, then install individual skills with '/plugin marketplace install suji-father-marketplace@skill-name'. For example, '/plugin marketplace install suji-father-marketplace@flutter-init' installs the Flutter project generator.
Which AI clients support these plugins?+
These are native Claude Code plugins designed specifically for Anthropic's Claude Code editor. Some skills (like Codex and Cursor integrations) coordinate multiple AI tools but are triggered from Claude Code.
Do any skills require API keys or external dependencies?+
Most skills work out-of-the-box. The Codex skill requires OpenAI Codex CLI access; Web-to-Markdown may need Playwright for JavaScript-heavy sites; and some design skills reference external fonts or image libraries. Check individual SKILL.md files for prerequisites.
Are these plugins free to use?+
Yes, the plugins themselves are MIT-licensed and free. However, some invoke paid AI services (OpenAI Codex, Claude API tokens) or external tools (Cursor, Midjourney) that have their own costs.
Can I use individual skills or must I install the whole collection?+
You install skills individually via marketplace commands—there's no requirement to install all 19. Each skill is independently usable and documented in its own folder with a dedicated SKILL.md file.
